Welcome to my scientific art studio! My name is Hechen Bao. Before you start exploring this site, let me briefly introduce who I am, and what this site is for.

Few facts about me:

  1. I love scientific research.
  2. I love animals.

  4. I earned my PhD in biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
  5. I’m now working as a postdoc associate at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  6. My research area is neuroscience. More specifically “adult hippocampal neurogenesis”.
